Weinandy Seed Service, LLC was established in the mid-1990’s with Mike and Heather Weinandy as the owners.   Mike graduated from Tiffin University in 1988 as a scholar-athlete playing football for the Dragons.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and started working for Pioneer shortly after graduation.  His first job with Pioneer was delivering and transferring products among sales representatives in northwest and north central Ohio. This gave Mike a chance to learn first-hand from experienced sales professionals.   He did this for several years until a neighboring sales representative was retiring.  Mike and Heather took this opportunity and established their own seed agency and started what is now Weinandy Seed Service LLC.

      Weinandy Seed Service has grown into a family business.  Their nephew, Nathan Weinandy, is a part-time Associate Seller.  When he is not taking care of his three children with his wife Ashley, he is a firefighter for the city of Findlay. Mike and Heather’s son, Carson Weinandy, is also an Associate Seller for Weinandy Seed.  Carson works full-time for the business and is set to get married in June of 2026.  Mike’s sister, Brenda Parker, can be seen helping out in the warehouse in the spring.
